Role Overview: DevOps Engineer I
Increff is seeking a passionate DevOps Engineer I who will play a vital role in developing, maintaining, and automating infrastructure and deployment processes for our product engineering teams. You will work across cloud platforms, CI/CD tools, containerized environments, and monitoring solutions to ensure scalable and secure deployments. This is a hybrid role based out of Bangalore, providing a balanced mix of office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Build and manage automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues in development, staging, and production environments.
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability, and implement improvements.
Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices.
Contribute to security, compliance, and cost optimization of infrastructure.
Document deployment processes, system architecture, and troubleshooting steps.
Participate in on-call support rotation and incident response when required.
Stay updated with evolving trends in DevOps, SRE, cloud computing, and container orchestration.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
6 months to 2 years of professional experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Cloud Engineer role.
Strong understanding of Linux operating systems, CLI tools, and system administration.
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
Key Skills and Tools
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation (required)
CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines
Configuration Management: Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
Containers: Docker (required), Kubernetes or GKE (preferred)
Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack (a plus)
Version Control: Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket
Understanding of networking, firewalls, DNS, and security best practices
